The HTG-5 Catalyst For C₅  Aromatization

The HTG-5 Catalyst for C₅  to aromatics is based on a Synthetic Zeolite. The catelyst can convert alkane or alkene of C₅  to aromatics mainly containing benzene(B),toluene(T) and xylenes(X),accompanied by the production of hydrogen and C₁-C₄ organic gases.By coinversion of C₅  hydrocarbon,the valuble aromatics, ethene,propene and liquefied petroleum gas can be obtained.So the application of this catalyst is extremely profitable.
 
The concersion of C₅  is more than 95%,and the yield of aromatics ranges from 60% to 70%.C3,C4 account for 50% of the organic gases produced,and ethene,propene for about 20%.
 
The HTG-5 Catalyst,with its remarkable stability and resistance to coking,could tolerate the feedstock containing 80% alkene of C₅ .

Result of the aromatization of distillate C₅ .

 The catalytic reaction was carrried out in a continuous fixed bed reactor at amtospheric pressure.The reaction temperature was fixed at 500^oC,The total effluent was analysed by gas chrometography with a SE-30 capillary column.
