The molecular formula of ethyl acetate is C4H8O2, and the CAS number is 141-786-6. It is the compound formed by the substitution of the hydroxyl group in acetic acid.Colorless transparent liquid, with fruit aroma, volatile, sensitive to air, can absorb moisture, water can make its slow decomposition and acid reaction.It is also an important raw material for pharmaceutical industry and organic synthesis.
